SOUR CREAM CHOC CHIP POUND 🎂🎂🎂🎂

  • 1 stick of unsalted butter (make sure it is unsalted!!!!!!!)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (also put a lil extra of this)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (buuut i put a lil more !!!!! )
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups (just depends on how much chocolate ya want) semi-sweet chocolate chips (mini or regular size)

-PREHEAT TO 350!!!!!!

-grease ur loaf pan ! i think mine i a 9x5

-IN YOUR MAIN BOWL IN THE MIXER: cream butter until v fluffy (i like to cut my butter up into smaller cubes personally i think it mixes easier and then even if your butter isn’t room temperature all the way yet this will help speed it along lol)

-add in the sugar to the butter and mix them up till they’re very very well combined into a new life form together

-add in your eggs one at a time! and before, between, and after the eggs, use a little spatula or knife or something and get scrape the random stuff off the sides and make sure everything is getting mixed together well

-add your sour cream now ! i did it in chunks of 1/4 of a cup at a time and made sure it all stayed smooth together

-add vanilla (i always do what the recipe calls for and then do a little dash more)

-IN A NEW DIFFERENT BOWL: combine flour + baking powder + baking soda + salt

-mix the dry in with the wet- i do this also in chunks of 1/4 a cup at a time. don’t overmix- stop when you can see that everything has been combined just right!!!!!!

-add in your choc chips and fold them in with ya spatula/knife whatever you’re using

-pour it up pour it up and watch it for 40-55 min!!!! i use a convection oven and it was finished riiiiiight at the 45 mark. too much longer and it would’ve def burnt

-leave it in the pan thing to cool and finish setting ! then just dump it right out and take ur pics and cut it up and stuff ur face!

xoxo
